# Nexus Shipping Manager

Brand Works / Nexus One addon for Odoo 17.

## What this version adds

- Unified Nexus Shipping backend for Shippo and ShipStation.
- Carrier/service catalog with checkout display limit from 1 to 10 or all selected services.
- Nexus One package builder with units:
- Weight: pounds, ounces, grams, kilograms.
- Size: inches, feet, centimeters.
- Auto Assign Default Package.
- Create / Refresh Default Package button.
- Prepare Packages health flow.
- Error Logs for sync, package, build, and live checkout rate issues.
- Self-healing Shippo packaging before a live rate lookup when a generated method is missing packaging.
- Backend UI polish for Shipping Profiles, Packages, and Logs.
- Website checkout card styling.

## Recommended workflow

1. Open Nexus Shipping -> Shipping Profiles.
2. Add Shippo and/or ShipStation credentials.
3. Click Sync Carrier Services.
4. Select the carrier services to show at checkout.
5. Open Packages tab.
6. Keep Auto Assign Default Package enabled.
7. Click Create / Refresh Default Package.
8. Click Prepare Packages.
9. Click Build Checkout Methods.
10. Click Run Health Check.
11. Test website checkout.
12. If a price fails, open Error Logs.

## Troubleshooting packaging warnings

If checkout says packaging is not set, open the profile and click:

- Create / Refresh Default Package
- Prepare Packages
- Build Checkout Methods
- Run Health Check

The module will also try to auto-assign packaging during the live rate lookup and write an Error Log if it still cannot price the method.
